We founded Stunt Puppy in 2006 because we love being outside with our dogs. Our goal was to create gear that made outdoor adventures safe and easy, whether we were trail running, training for a race, or simply strolling through a city park.
Being in the great outdoors is one of our founding principles and taking care of it is a core part of who we are. We strive to have as small an environmental paw print as we can.
Here are some of the sustainability initiatives that are central to our business:
We don’t do ‘fast fashion.’ Our gear is made to last. If it doesn’t, we’ll repair it whenever possible. This means less stuff in landfills — and more high-quality products you can use for a lifetime of adventures with your best friend.
We prioritize low-impact transport. Ninety percent of our products are made in the USA and engineered at our production headquarters in NE Minneapolis. That means less overseas shipping, which has an outsized carbon footprint. We also fulfill all the orders at headquarters, eliminating even more shipping.
We use low-impact packaging. We send out most of our orders in USA-made eco-packaging that is made with 100% recycled materials and is fully recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable. You can feel good about where your packaging ends up!
We keep things close to home. We source as many of our raw materials as we can from nearby. When we need to partner with suppliers further away, we work directly with them to help achieve similar sustainability goals.
